Colors by Llarowe - The sheens

It's "amazing Friday and epic nail mail"-day"
My weekend started with me receiving these five gorgeous bottles of polish from piCture pOlish. I was so excited. I was going to start the swatching but then the door bell rang.

Father christmas aka The UPS dude was standing there with a large brown package. The package was full of nail polish. This time from my favourite brand Colors by Llarowe. Let's just say I woke up on the right side of bed. I got TWENTY-THREE, TJUGOTRE (swedish), CbL's from the new spring collection to swatch. I still can't believe it. I started with the sheens. I've always loved Leah Ann's non-holo polish and these are no exception.

I applied three coats of each colour. If your not into the whole "witch long nails" thing you'll be fine with two coats. All four bottles have a different type of cap than my other bottles but it seems as if the brush is the same. These colours are so lovely. Bright and juicy! I would say that they are neons even though the don't dry matte. They have shimmer added to them that reminds me of China Glaze Summer neons collection from 2012. But more of like a jelly version of them. I would love a CbL version of I'm with the lifeguard *hint hint nudge nudge Leah Ann*.

Coral Confusion is the first pretty. I'm not really sure what I should write. I think it's pretty obvious when you look at the picture. This amazing coral has a shimmer that my camera refused to capture. I'm sick of dark vampy colours, and this is not a dark colour :P

Neon punk is such a fun colour. It's super pink! I love super pink pinks! It's just perfect! A bright neon candy pink with a blue shimmer. When could that ever go wrong? Well perhaps at a funeral. I wouldn't recommend Neon punk if you're going to a funeral. Otherwise, GO FOR IT!

Have you ever wanted to have beautiful mediterranean water on your nails? Have you been searching the entire interwebz to find the perfect oceany colour? WELL, YOU CAN STOP YOUR SEARCH!
What you need is Waters of Belize! This picture isn't 100% colour accurate though, it's a tad more green IRL. Waters of Belize has a blue shimmer that really makes it unique. It's a squishy  gorgeous colour :D

Julie Julie Julie, JJJ is my least favourite of these four colours. But it's still amazing. It's just not as in your face bright as the others. The shimmer of JJJ is also a bit more discrete. This will be amazing when I'm not pale as a corpse. Sorry about all the death references, not sure what's going on.

Over all, these four colours are wonderful. Unfortunately I don't have Melon wine to compare with CC and JJJ. But I think I might have to try to get it ^_^ My overall impression of these four colours really is WOW. They are beautiful and I'm so glad that they've moved in with me.

The spring collection will be restocked one more time today (28/2), at 6:00 pm to 7:00 om MST. At Llarowe's website. They will also be restocked a few more times in the future. I'll update you guys when I know the dates and times :)

Until next time, take care!

Pahlish - Crimson, Eleven, Delight, Petrichor

Hi guys!

I've got such an amazing spring colour to show you today. This is Crimson, Eleven, Delight, Petrichor (CEDP) from the second part of Pahlish Doctor Who themed collection. CEDP is a candy pink creme with magenta and neon pink glitters. The formula was really good, I was a bit worried that the pastell pink creme was going to be streaky but it wasn't. I needed three coats but two will definitely be enough if you have shorter nails. I have two coats of SV and it's almost completely smooth. I ave a lot of thinner in my SV so I guess one coat would be enough if your not a thinner addict.

CEDP is really different from the other colours in the collection, it's a bright spring colour and I would love it if a few more colours where like this one. I need spring and bright colours. I'm so tired of the dark swedish winter months and vampy colours.

Don't forget to check out Princess Emmas' blog if you want to see more pink spring colours :)
Pahlish can be purchased at their big cartel.

Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Young grasshoppa

Hey guys!

This green Wednesday I'm showing you a lemming of mine. Young grasshoppa from CbL. I found it in a storenvy shop a few weeks ago and was so glad that I got it :)

This is a sheer grass green hollo. I have three thin coats and it's not even semi opaque. This polish is being re-released and I'm looking forward to compare the two formulas. It dried pretty slowly even with a fast drying TC. I love this colour, but I'll definitely layer it next time.

Until next time, take care!

Enchanted Polish - Yesterday

I really hate when I see gorgeous polish being sold for like five times the retail price. I think it's sad that not everyone can get their lemmings just because they can't afford to pay 70 USD for one bottle of nail polish. Another thing I hate about this whole pricing thing is that I find it hard to use my bottles of polish. Knowing that people would pay so much for them makes it hard for me to justify using them. How ridiculous is that!? So from now on, I'm not going to feel bad when I use my polish. I'm going to enjoy ALL my bottles regardless of brand and if I don't like it, then I'll sell or swap.

With that said, time for todays pretty, I'm going to show you Yesterday from Enchanted Polish. I got this from a restock at meimei's. I got quite a few of the colours I wanted which made me super happy. Yesterday looks multi chrome in the bottle but I couldn't see any green when applied to the nail. So I'd say it's a duo chrome scattered holo. Depending on the angle it pends between a aubergine purple to a light golden brown.

I applied two thin coats of Yesterday over one coat of China Glaze - Liquid leather. I also have one coat of Pretty & Polished - Swift sparkle TC that I love! It dried quite slow though. I don't know if thats Yesterday or Liquied leathers fault because this was my first time using LL.

Enough text, time for a ridiculous amount of pictures!

Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - If anyone falls

Hey sweeties! .

New week again, feels as if it was monday yesterday. I Hope that you all had a great weekend :)

Today it's time for the eleventh and final polish form DDP's White witch collection. If anyone falls is quite the finally. A gorgeous burgundy aubergine pinkish colour. The holographic properties are wonderful and the polish applied smoothly. I have two coats without TC in the pictures.

I know that some of you want me to do a summary of the collection and compare the blues and purples. I would absolutely love to do that, I'm not really sure when but I'm pretty sure it will be up on the blog sometime during this week.

That's all for now :) Enjoy the pictures!

Darling Diva Polish - Gypsy & Bella donna

Hi cuties

I love that Carrie's collections usually contain a large amount of colours. Like the Muscle car collection. Then I can enjoy them for a longer time :)

But even the larger collections end at some point and unfortunately I only have three colours left to show you. Two of them will be shown in this post. Besides the last one I have left there is another colour in this collection as well. If you want to see swacthes of that one you should jump over to Amanda loves polish and scroll down to Wild at heart

The two I'm going to show you now is Gypsy and Bella donna. Let's start with Gypsy shall we :)

Gypsy is a soft lavender holo with pink glass flecks. Gypsy is right down my alley. But then again most colours are, lol. I love when holos have some kind of extra "feature". When you live in a country like Sweden that have so many cloudy winter days, a sprinkle of shimmer makes a huge difference. Three coats of Gypsy was needed for it to become fully opaque. Gypsy doesn't dry quite as glossy as the pure holos do. That sounded a bit polish racist, don't you think? Pure holos... Any way, time enough babbling. Let's look at the pictures.

Beautiful Bella donna is next. This was a really tricky colour to capture so please google other swatches if your'e thinking of buying it. My pictures are quite accurate, but I would hate do be the reason that you got disappointed when receiving this beauty!

Anyway, two coats was enough for full coverage and the formula was just as great as all the other DDP's in this collection. The holographic properties of BD are pretty intense even in dim lightning.

DDP polish can be bought at LlaroweEdgy polishMei mei and of course at their Big cartel.

Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - Dreams & Sara

Hey lovelies!

I've been swatching and testing different types of lighting today. In other words, a really nice Saturday. I hope that you're having a great one as well :)

In this post I'm going to show you Dreams and Sara from the White which collection. I'll start with Dreams.

Dreams is a denim blue linear holo. A gorgeous blue, it was definitely love at first sight. I have two coats in the pictures, without TC. The formula was wonderful. It was neither too thin or thick. It dried "holo fast". It also dried pretty glossy. A lot of highly pigmented blue polishes tend to discolour the cuticle area when you remove them, but not Dreams and that's a big plus. I'm overall really pleased with this polish.

Okay, time for Sara. I've been really sceptic about this one. I loved Amanda loves polish's swatches. I think it looked amazing to her skin tone. But I was afraid I was going to look sick or like a smoker. To be honest, I look like a sick smoker... BUT a love it anyway. Perhaps Sara would look better on me if I layered it over my favourite creme nude. Sara is a really weird "golden honey nude nicotine"-colour and it's obviously like nothing I've ever seen. I think that this polish would be amazing for a french holo manicure and I'm definitely going to try something like that out.

The formula is great, a bit sheer. I ended up with three coats. I'm not sure if it's possible to get Sara opaque on her own. But as I've said many time before, a bit of VNL doesn't bother me. Sara is super duper glossy and the holo effect is subtle.
What do you guys think about Dreams and Sara? :)
