Prettypots Polish - Winged Chariot

Hey cuties!

I have a very interesting polish to show you today. My boyfriend said that it looked like gold and mustard had a baby, lol. This is Winged Chariot from Prettypots Polish. I've had it for quite some time but I have totally forgotten to try it. In swedish I would call this colour 'fulsnygg', I'm not sure if there is a good english word for it. But it basically means that it's both ugly and pretty at the same time. 

The formula was amazing, it covered with one coat(!) and dried really fast. I applied tc to add extra shine because it wasn't very shiny on it's own. I think I like this polish, I might even love it. It's a one of a kind colour and I know it's not for everyone. 

OH one more thing! I want to brag, I have updated my entire stash list today. The only thing I have left to do is to add blog post links for the polishes that I have blogged about.

Prettypots Polish - Paquita

Okay, I'm literally dying. I've been working so much lately that I can barley focus the camera when taking pictures. I'm super duper tired. I'm hoping that I will get some energy this weekend. 

Since I'm so tired, this will be a short post.  

Today I'm showing you Paquita from Prettypots Polish. Paquita is a burgundy glitter polish. It covered with three thin coats but I think it would look great layered over another polish.

Since there is silver glitter in the polish I decided to add some silver studs. I know that I'm overusing studs at the moment but I love how they make any polish look super fancy. 

With the help of Seche vite the polish dried fast and shiny. Even though Paquita isn't a super summery colour I love it. I will definitely wear it again :)

Nail art sunday - Prettypots Polish swatch

Hi lovelies!

I've got  pretty simple nail art to show you for todays nail art Sunday. Made with polish from some pretty cheap brands I tried a different type of swatch today. I really like swatches that aren't just "plain polish swatches" so I decided to try it out myself. On my middle and ring finger I'm wearing Prettypots Polish - Candy peach. A peachy pink shimmer creme with pink, purple and blue glitters. I choose a couple of polishes that matched the glitters and the base colour of Candy peach and tried a few different techniques.

The colours that I used are Mavala - Samarkand, H&M -Nail him, H&M - Check me out and Nordic Cap - NP14.

On my index finger I simply applied layers of the different colours, starting with the lightest one and ending with the darkest. Then I finished it of with three big pink dots.

On my pinkie I started with a purple base and painted horizontal sloppy lines with the help of a nail art brush.

On my thumb, that you can see in one of the pictures I used a dotting tool and added a few studs in some of the dots.

None of these techniques are particularly tricky, but the end result looks kind of impressive :)

Prettypots Polish - Granny smith loves pearls

Hey lovelies!

Time for a polish from one of my favourite brands. This is Granny smith loves pearls from Prettypots polish. GSLP is a mint green creme with green shimmer and brown, green and white micro glitters. It's so cute I really love it! The formula was excellent. Two coats in the pictures and that was enough to achieve full opacity. With the help of a fast drying TC from Nail pattern boldness it was completely dry in about five minutes. Like my friend Emelie said "It looks like really tasty vomit" LOL!

Pretty Pots Polish - Time traveler & You'll never take my sky

Since I was so disappointed with My little glacier I decided to swatch two polishes that I knew would create some instant love. PPP is a Australian brand and I ordered these from their etsy. Unfortunately since I placed this order the have stopped shipping worldwide :( You can get them at NorwayNails though. I have applied three thin coats of both PR and YNTMS ^_^

First out is Time traveler. Holy cow I can't explain how much I like this colour. The formula was great and the application was flawless. I'm so happy that I have this baby in my stash :D

Next up is You'll never take my sky. I got this polish as a bonus which was so sweet. This awesome denim blue holo is to die for. The formula, again flawless. The application was incredible! Since the sun has decided to never show itself in Sweden the last picture is taken with flash so you can enjoy the holo beauty of this baby.
