Colors by Llarowe - Chillin' in paradise

Chillin' in paradise sent for my honest review.
Hi cuticle cuties!

I've been enjoying my day off today and I've had a great day. I hope everything is well with you :)
I'm participating in Tove's Blue Monday today, it's been forever since I did so last time. The polish I'm wearing today is Chillin' in paradise from Colors by Llarowe. Chillin' in paradise is a light blue super holo. It was easy to apply and covered with two thin coats. Chillin' in paradise is even more holographic in direct sunlight, it's a true stunner. It dried really fast but I did add some Seche vite for extra shine :)
Until next time, take care!

RdeL Young - Creamy blueberry with splatter nail art

I've got such a fun polish to show you guys today. It's called Creamy blueberry from a until now unknown brand for me, called RdeL Young. It was kind of tricky to figure out the actual name :P

Anyway. The polish is so pretty, a blue crelly with hex glitters and a few bar glitters as well. I know that most nail polish addicts don't like bar glitters but I think the look kind of cute in this polish. So I really like this polish. The formula on the other hand was absolutely terrible. It was thick, stringy and gooey.
I ended up with three rather thick coats. The glitters spread enevly which is a plus I suppose :P I also added some super cute stickers that where sent to me for review from Born pretty store. The stickers where super easy to apply. I really love easy and fast ways to make manicures more unique. These stickers are so easy that my dogs could manage to apply them and they don't have opposable thumbs!

Don't forget to use my code if you shop at Born pretty store. Write CYX31 and you will get a 10% discount on your entire order. You can use it as many times as you want :D

Don't forget to check out Nail me if you want to enjoy more blue beauties today :)
Until next time, take care!

Pop Culture Cosmetics - Castle engagement

Squishy squishy!

Shame on me, I've totally forgotten to use my gorgeous polishes from Pop Culture Cosmetics. PCC is one of my absolute favourite brands when it comes to glitter polish. Their glitter jellies are amazing, the glitters spread so well, they dry fast and they are really unique.

Castle engagement is no exception. It's a really cute medium blue jelly with loads of different glitters. Take a look at the close-up bellow and you will see all the different shapes and sizes. I always use glitter-a-peel from Nail pattern boldness as base coat when I use glitter polish. It works great for me and it makes the removal so easy. I have two coats of Castle engagement in the pictures. I also applied two coats of TC but I think I will apply a third coat later on today. The application was just as great as always when it comes to PCC!

That's all for now, enjoy the pictures :)
Until next time, take care!

China Glaze - Seahorsin' around

Ugh!

I feel like such a bad blogger lol. I promised Alexandra over at My nail utopia to swatch these like a month ago, but I totally forgot! I'm sorry <3 So finally here is the forth polish from China Glaze sea godess collection. Seahorsin' around is a wonderful teal with loads of golden shimmer. This is a new favourite of mine. I love textured polish and the ones with shimmer are definitely the prettiest IMO.

The formula of Seahorsin' around was great. I applied two coats but if you have shorter nails one coat will do. It also dried really fast which is a bonus when you can't use a fast drying TC.

Don't forget to check out Nail me if you want to see more blue manis.

Are you tired of the textured polishes or du you still enjoy them? Please let me know below :)

Until next time, take care!

Dance Legend - High voltage

Hi cuties!

Hope that you're having a great start to the week. I've been enjoying the wonderful weather. It has been so sunny her in Lund that I decided to start the week with a holo polish. This gorgeous colour is High Voltage from Dance Legend. It's not new, I bet you've seen it a dozen times already. But hey, it's new for me :)

The formula seemed really sheer when I applied the first coat but the second coat covered perfectly. I really like this colour in the sun, but it's rather dull in the shade. It's a icy pastel blue. Not a very exciting colour IMO.

If you want to enjoy more blue nails don't forget that it's blue Monday over at Nail me.

Until next time, take care!

Valentine themed week - Blue monday

Hey cuties,

This week Gelic' nail art and Traces of polish have arranged a Valentine themed week. I'm super excited, hope you are as well! I'm going to try to make the ordinary themed days work with my V-day manis. Such as blue Monday, red Tuesday and so on :) The green one is going to be tricky though.

First out is a pretty simple mani. IMO you can make any polish look stunning with a few rhinestones. Therefore I used heart shaped rhinestones to add a bit of a valentine feel to this mani. You can buy the hearts here. The blue polish is Peacock from IsaDora. A dark royal blue polish with shimmer. It's not matte though, the suede effect is thanks to a matte TC from OPI.  Peacock's formula was average. Not bad but not great either. It was a bit runny for my taste but I managed. On my ring finger I added some shimmer from Pop Culture Cosmetics on the free edge. The shimmer polish is called Magical wedding which I found very appropriate.

On my index and pinkie I added one of my favourite white-ish glitters of all time. Care bear stare from Darling Diva Polish. Care bare stare has heart, star, hex and circle shaped glitters. I used a make-up sponge when applying the glitter. I find that very helpful as it helps to avoid the glitter from getting to thick. Another tip is to wait until the polish is kinda tacky and gently dab the polish to flatten it out.

That's all for now. If you wan't to participate on this theme week here's a link to the InLinkz codes :)

Until next time, take care!

Too Fancy Lacquer - Set fire to the rain

Hola amigos!

I had a bit of a nail disaster yesterday lol. I was planing to my Marimekko nail art for nail art Sunday and I was super excited. My first attempt didn't turn out the way I wanted so I redid it. Before I was going to take pictures of it I took a bath. While bathing I noticed that one of my nails had a small crack. So I decided to remove the polish so I could fix the crack and forgot to take pictures lol.

Anyway, Monday today and this colour definitely qualifies for Blue Monday. I'm wearing two coats of Set fire to the rain without TC in the pictures. It's a pretty royal blue cream with a discrete holo touch. The formula was great, it covered fully with one coat but I added one extra because on the patch on one of my nails. I bought this from Katarina at Edgy polish and I'm super pleased with it. I have four polishes from Too Fancy Lacquer but I think I might need a few more :D

Some of the pictures are taken with flash, since the sun is non-existing in Lund. That's all for now :)

Until next time, take care!
