Smitten Polish - Not your mama's easter grass

BOOM!

Another lovely jelly polish with micro glitters from Smitten. I've shown you Imperio and Amas veritas before and "Not your mama's easter grass" is just as amazing! Three thin coats for full opacity. The formula was great, and the drying time was surprisingly short. I have one coat of Seche vite in the pictures but I think I'll might add a second coat because it's feeling a bit gritty now.
I really love this polish and I'm going to order Glacial springs from Smitten polish's big cartel since it seems to have a similar finish. A few minutes left of todays holo Friday and I hope that Skimmerskuggan approves even though I'm only showing you guys prismatic glitters today :)
Do you guys like this colour? Let me know bellow :D
Until next time, take care!

Dollish Polish - Totes magotes!

WOWZA!

Sometimes when you finally get a polish that you've been wanting forever it's like, is this it!? That is not the case with Totes magotes!

I absolutely love it! Totes magotes! is a minty creme holo with a discrete shimmer. I applied three thin coats and it covered perfectly. I also added one coat of Seche vite and it added some extra shine. I think it's absolutely stunning and it climbed right up to the top and I would say that it's my favourite mint in my entire collection.
If you want to enjoy more holos check out Skimmerskuggan's blog :)
Until next time, take care!

Lilypad Lacquer - Orange-a-peel

I have the best BFF in the entire universe!

Emelie and I give each other monthly polishes. This month I got Orange-a-peel from Lilypad Lacquer. I love orange polishes and this one is so awesome. It's a neon orange scattered holo. I couldn't capture the holo-part very well because it's kind of cloudy in Lund today. If you want a better chance of rainbows you should check out Skimmerskuggan's holographic friday.
Orange-a-peel was almost a one-coater. The formula was great, it applied like butter. I ended up with two thin coats but one thicker coat would definitely cover just as well. It dries matte like neons do so top coat is recommended. I used HK Girl TC and it didn't affect the holographic properties.
That's all for now, I hope that you all will have a great weekend!
Until next time, take care!

Too Fancy Lacquer - Moody blue

Sent for my honest review.
I've come to understand that some bloggers have problems with blogger. The primary problem being that blogger degrades the quality of the pictures. I haven't experienced this, until today. So there won't be as many pictures as usual because the looked blurry and grey when I uploaded them :(

Enough about blogger being a mean nail polish pic hater, time for some nail polish rambling. Today I'm showing you a gorgeous dusty blue holographic creme from Too Fancy Lacquer. Moody blue is a gorgeous polish and the formula was amazing. What you see in the pictures is ONE coat of Moody blue with HK Girl top coat.

It was wonderful to apply and the clean-up was minimal. I really like this polish and it matches the weather in Lund perfectly.

This polish was sent to me from Katarina at Edgy Polish and it's still in stock so go grab a bottle before it's sold out ;)

Don't forget to check out Skimmerskuggan's blog for more holographic manis.
Until next time, take care!

NailNation 3000 - Fuchsia holo GASM

Holo friday among the Swedish nail bloggers today at Skimmerskuggan. My entry is Fuchsia holo gasm from NailNation 3000. This polish  so wonderful and I can't believe it has taken me so long to wear it. I bought this when Norway Nails had a discount code a while back. I'm so glad that I got it :)
Holo gasm is like a holographic top coat with loads of fuchsia coloured micro glitters. For me it took three coats for full coverage. It was easy to apply and dried really fast. The finish was rather gritty so I would recommend using a TC :)
Until next time, take care!

Love Thy Polish - Bringin' sexy back

Hey lovelies!

TGIF and I'm starting this holographic Friday with swatches of Bringin' sexy back from Love Thy Polish. Bringin' sexy back (BSB) is even more holographic than Halo that I showed you guys yesterday. I didn't think that was possible, but apparently it is. BSB is not pink nor purple it's somewhere in-between. It is however a bright colour that screams of spring.

BSB has a great formula and all I needed was two coats for it to get opaque. The application was smooth and the clean up was minimal. I didn't apply TC but it was pretty shiny on it's own. I love this colour it looks great in lower lighting, but it is truly stunning in direct sunlight. I mean look at those rainbows!

Enough babbling, I know you guys only come here for the pictures :P
Love Thy Polish can be bought at Love Thy PolishNorway nailsMei Mei and Funkee Nailz. Not all of these shops ship worldwide, unfortunately, but a few do :)

Bringin' sexy back and a bunch of other holos will be released at Love Thy Polish on Saturday (15/2) - 8am SA time.

Until next time, take care!

Pahlish - Blood of the mountain

Hey cuties!

Friday again! Time really does fly. Friday means holoday and I have such a pretty polish to show you. It's Blood of the mountain from Pahlish. I bought it from their big cartel for 9 USD. Blood of the Mountain is a burgundy red holo with gold flecks. I love holos with flecks. It makes them more interesting and also more fun to wear on cloudy days.

The formula of this one is a bit tricky though, it dries so fast that it becomes difficult to apply. I think I might add some SV restore to make the formula a bit thinner. I applied two coats of BotM and used a TC from Pretty & Polished that works great over holos.

That's all for now, until next time take care :)

Colors by Llarowe - Tank tops & flip flops

Hey guys!

Hope that you all are great :) Today I'm showing you Tank tops & flip flops from CbL. It's a purple cream holo and I achieved full opacity in two coats. As some of you might already know I'm not very fond of the brushes from CbL. The new brush is way to big for my "slim jim"-nails so there was some major clean up. The formula was a bit thick but nothing to bad. I might add some thinner to it.

TT&FF is such a beautiful purple so I'm going to let all the bad brush slide. I really enjoy wearing purples and this one is no exception. CbL is definitely one of my top three indies they are to die for! Since it's Friday this cutie qualifies for Holo Friday

Until next time, take care!
