Colors by Llarowe - OABTRAD (Orchids Are Better Than Roses Any Day)

Hey cuties!

Guess what, today isn't any regular Thursday. It's Pink Thursday's birthday! I love pink so I try to participate as often as I can :) Princess Emma has decided that our manicures should be heart themed and who am I to say no to that!?

I decided to go for a pretty simple design. I used OABTRAD as the base colour and did a glitter gradient with Heart breaker from Dollish Polish. Since OABTRAD is so gorgeous on it's own I added a couple of pictures without the glitter gradient as well.

The formula of OABTRAD was classic Llarowe, nothing to complain about there. It dried fast and two coats was enough to get it opaque. Heart breaker is such a cute polish, it's packed with white, pink and red glitters shaped as circles, bows and hearts among others. I didn't have any problems with heart breaker, it was easy to get different glitter shapes on the brush. When I did the glitter gradient I applied Heart breaker on a make-up sponge and dabbed it on the nail. This is a really great technique to apply glitters. Do you guys have any special plans for Valentines day tomorrow?

That's all for now :)

Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Mustang Sally

Holy smokes this is a pink polish. If it won't qualify for Pink Thursday I'm not sure what will. Mustang Sally is a hot pink jelly with matte neon pink micro glitter and purple flakes. This is my kind of polish. Application was smooth, it dried pretty fast and I achieved full opacity with three coats.

Btw don't forget to vote for tomorrows brand of your choice! Because of some personal circumstances I will be having at lot of free time at the moment. That will result in a couple of blog post per day and one of them will be your pick. Hope you don't mind the large amount of posts :) Enough babbling for now, time to enjoy the pictures!

Until next time, take care!

China Glaze - Ahoy!

Puh! Sorry about the late post but today has been an intense day!

Finally home and finally some time for my blog and you guys. I know that the colour of my skin tone is a bit weird in the pictures but I had such problems capturing Ahoy!. It's still not 100% colour accurate but it is pretty darn close.

Ahoy! is a raspberry coloured crelly with gold flecks. I have three thin coats and the application was problem free. It also dried surprisingly fast with the help of SV. I have a serious color crush and have nothing bad to say about Ahoy!.

Today is Thursday which means PINK PINK PINK over att Princess Emma. Make sure you jump over there if you love pretty pink manis as much as I do!

Until next time, take care!

Deborah Lippmann - Mermaid's kiss

Hey guys!

The battery has finally arrived and I'm super excited!

Today I have a gorgeous polish for you all. It's Mermaid's kiss from DL. The base is a soft varm pink color packed with tons of golden shimmer. If that wasn't enough they also added pink and magenta glitter. It sounds crazy but it has i calm feel to it that I really enjoy. The application was super, but I did need three coats and it took a while for it to dry completely. Even with SV, so you need a good half an hour to make sure it's completely dry :)

Just realised that it's Pink thursday today :) If you want to see more lovely pink manicures, check out Emma's blog :)

Until next time, take care!
