Colors by Llarowe - Watch me fly, see me soar

Polish and studs where sent for my honest review. 

Hi lovelies! 

Time for my last review from the summer collection by Colors by Llarowe. I thought that I'd combine it with some cute studs that where sent to me from Born pretty store.

WMF,SMS was very easy to apply. The formula was problem-free and didn't require any clean-up. It dried fast with a semi-matte finish. I think it's a pretty grey but it's not unique in my collection. If you don't have any grey holos I would definitely recommend it. 

Over to the studs :) I thought that these studs where absolutely stunning when I saw them at BPS. They are even prettier IRL. I love that they are colour shifters. They where really easy to cut in half, I used a nail clipper. With the help of a nail file I managed to get the cut edge completely smooth. The are, as you can see in the pictures, rather big so I would recommend using nail glue if you want to wear the manicure for a longer time. I only used nail polish and that wasn't enough for them to stay on for long. I do love them and I will make sure to use them, with glue, soon.

Colors by Llarowe - My own private paradise

My own private paradise was sent for my honest review.

Hi cuticle cuties!

I was planing on posting pictures of another polish today but I wasn't completely satisfied with the pictures so I decided to go with this polish instead. The polish is called My own private paradise and is from Colours by Llarowe's summer collection. It's a very bright purple that is neither too red or blue. 

The formula was pretty close to perfect. I applied two thin coats and it covered perfectly on the second coat. It did dry semi-matte so I finished the manicure off with one coat of HK Girl's TC. I'm sorry that this post will be short but I'm going up at 4 am tomorrow :(

Colors by Llarowe - Anna's adventure (Pic heavy)

Anna's adventure was sent for my honest review. 

Why have I waited so long to wear this polish? Anna's adventure is a wonderful peachy pink holo. It's part of the CbL summer collection and it screams summer. 

This beauty was super easy to apply. The formula was really good and I only needed two thin coats, one thicker coat will also work if that's what you prefer. It dried semi matte and therefore I added one coat of HK girl top coat. The shine helped the holographic properties pop. I adore this colour and I hope you guys do to. I'm going to let the pictures speak for them selves. I promise I'll post a longer post tomorrow :)

Colors by Llarowe and Neverland Lacquers nail art

Olivia, Blonde ambition and lightning vinyls sent for my honest reviews. 

Time for a double review! 

Today I'm showing you guys my second nail art attempt with nail stencils that where sent to me from Neverland Lacquers. I used Olivia from Colors by Llarow as base colour. When Olivia was completely dry I applied one lightning stencil on each nail and I applied one rather thick coat of Blonde ambition also from Colors by Llarowe. Immediately after I applied the polish I removed the stencil! This is super important, if you wait with the removal of the stencil the polish will dry a teeny-tiny bit and that will make your lines less perfect. 

I repeated the procedure on each nail and applied one coat of Seche vite. I must say that I'm really impressed with Blonde ambition. I was a bit sceptical if it was going to be pigmented enough to cover with one coat but it covered perfectly. I love Oliva and BA, the look great together. 

I'm really enjoying Neverland Lacquers nail stencils. I they work great for me and they are very easy to use. I have loads more to show you and I have some great ideas :D

I've been enjoying my day off today and I've had a great day. I hope everything is well with you :)

I'm participating in Tove's Blue Monday today, it's been forever since I did so last time. The polish I'm wearing today is Chillin' in paradise from Colors by Llarowe. Chillin' in paradise is a light blue super holo. It was easy to apply and covered with two thin coats. Chillin' in paradise is even more holographic in direct sunlight, it's a true stunner. It dried really fast but I did add some Seche vite for extra shine :)

Colors by Llarowe - Mystery & Mayhem

Mystery & Mayhem sent for my honest review

Hey cuties!

It's time for yet another wonderful jelly with prismatic micro glitters. I NEEDZ THEM ALL!

Mystery & Mayhem is part of the Summer collection by CbL. M&M has a dark teal jelly base. It is really pigmented and if you prefer thicker coats of polish I think one coat will do. Personally I'm a thinner coats kind of gal so I ended up with two. 

CbL's usually have a rather thick formula and therefore I would recommend thinner coats. Otherwise the brush will become "overfilled" with polish and your cuticles will have a pool polish party. 

As most jelly micro glitter polishes M&M dried superfast and kind of gritty. I have used to much thinner in my top coat so I needed three coats of TC, however I think two coats will do if you're not a thinner junkie :P

Colors by Llarowe - Smokin' in the boys room and China Glaze - Nova

Smokin' in the boys room sent for my honest review. 

Hi lovelies :)

Time for a jelly sandwich, it's been forever since I made one. If you don't know, a jelly sandwich is when you layer a glitter polish in-between a jelly polish. The glitter polish I used is a silver prismatic glitter polish from China Glaze called Nova. The jelly I used is Smokin' in the boys room, a soft grey jelly from the CbL summer collection. 

Smokin' in the boys rooms is a great jelly sandwich polish. It covered the glitters not too much nor too little. I have three coats of Smokin' in the boys room and two coats of Nova. I also have two coats of top coat. Even though I ended up with so many layers of polish, it didn't feel thick which is a big plus. 

I really like this jelly sandwich and I'm definitely going to use Smokin' in the boys room for ponds and other jelly nail arts :)

Colors by Llarowe - Olivia

Olivia sent for my honest review.

I'm dying, well almost I've got the flu. I had to go home from work so this will be a short post. 

Olivia is a olive green linear holo with a stunning golden shimmer. You can see the shimmer really well if you look at the bottle shot. 

I ended up with two thin coats of Olivia. The formula was as most CbL-holos are, which means buttery smooth. The first coat seemed a bit sheer but the second coat covered really well. I don't have top coat in the pictures but it's semi-shiny on it's own. It did dry really fast which is a big plus. 

I really like this colour but it's not a summer colour in my opinion. I think that I will wear a lot during the winter though.  

I need to lay down and die for a while now :P

Colors by Llarowe - Independence day

Independence day sent for my honest review. 

Hi cuticle cuties :)

Time for a fancy schamncy nail art with rhinestones and a amazing blue polish.

Independence day is a deep blue jelly with prismatic micro glitters. I ended up with three super thin coats. Since I applied such thin coats the polish dried surprisingly fast. I did however apply Seche vite because the polish dried gritty because of the micro glitter. I also added about a million rhinestones, I glued them on with false nail glue. 

Independence day is a stunning blue polish. I'm so glad that Leah Ann added a couple of jellies like this in the summer collection. It's a must have for anyone who loves the jelly polishes with micro glitters from Smitten Polish.

China Glaze - Be more pacific and Colors by Llarowe - Refresh...ing!

Hey guys!

I'm sorry that the blog has been quite the last few days but my boyfriend and I have been celebrating midsummer with our friends. But now everything will be back to normal. 

Today I have two lovely colours to show you. Be more pacific from China Glaze and Refresh...ing! from CbL.

Be more pacific is a newfound love of mine. It applied smoothly and covered perfectly with three coats. It's a pale neon green. It is however greener than it looked in the bottle when I purchased it.

After Be more pacific had dried completely I added a chevron vinyl diagonally on each nail and topped it with Refresh...ing! from CbL. Refresh...ing! was highly pigmented and covered really well over the green base. 

After I had removed the vinyl strip I used a dotting tool and added light green dots. I finished the design off with Seche vite. I love this manicure and I feel really pleased with it!

Colors by Llarowe - Purple is my crack

Sent for my honest review.

Hey guys!

I hope that you're having a great weekend. I've been working today and will work tomorrow as well. Oh well, extra cash means more polish right? 

Todays polish is Purple is my crack from the CbL summer collection. I was excepting Purple is my crack to be a more intense and bright purple. But it's more like a softish blurple. The base is a tinted jelly and the polish also contains prismatic micro glitters. I really like the colour even though it's not as purple as I would like it to be. 

Since the base was rather sheer I ended up with three thin coats. I did however only need one coat of Seche vite, it dried pretty smooth compared to other jelly micro glitter polishes. The drying time was rather short and the polish was easy to apply. 

Purple is my crack is my favourite polish from the summer collection this far :) What do you guys think of it?
