Colors by Llarowe - Bonus spring frenzy

Hey cuticle cuties!

I got a few extra colours from the Spring frenzy collection from Colors by Llarowe two weeks ago. But I totally forgot to post them on the blog. I uploaded a few of the pictures on my Facebook page

As you can see, I swatched some of these polishes before I broke one of my nails. But I must say, I think I might keep them short for a while. I really like them this way :) I hope you enjoy the post, please let me know if you have any questions!

Little boy blue
First out is Little boy blue, a gorgeous blue creme with pink glass flecks. I absolutely adore this colour. The formula was great. It applied smoothly and covered perfectly with three thin coats. I'm not wearing any top coat in the pictures. It dries really glossy on it's own!

Bea stings!
Bea stings! is a reddish pink holo. It has micro glitters and as you can see in the pictures TC is needed. I didn't apply any TC and it felt a bit gritty.  Two coats where needed for it to cover completely.

Turquoise twinkle
I was a bit disappointed in this colour. I was hoping for something a bit more turquoise. I'm not sure if i just got a polish from a bad batch but mine had a blue base and not a turquoise one. I only needed two  layers and the formula was great.

Do you guys have this polish? Does your have more of a turquoise base? The colour of this polish really seem to vary depending on the swatcher.

Tazmo kramer
Tazmo kramer is a newfound love of mine. I adore this colour. It somehow manages to be both discrete and super sparkly, don't ask me how. It has the cutest little semi translucent turquoise glitters that make the polish really unique. Two coats was enough for full coverage. The pictures are without top coat.

Shimmering waters
Oh, cute little Shimmering waters, you have so much potential with all your pretty glitters. Unfortunately I only managed to fish up three glitters from the bottle :'( I didn't have that kind of problem with TT or TK, not with Come dance the hora either. Maybe I should let the bottle stand upside-down for a while and give it a second try. The base colours is absolutely stunning so it doesn't bother me. I'm a big fan of glitters however so I might just give the upside-down bottle trick a try. I have two coats in the pictures without TC.
Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Final Spring frenzy post

Hi guys :)
Hope that everything is well with all of you. I'm still sick, but hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. This is the final Spring frenzy post. I hope you have enjoyed them, I know I have enjoyed writing them. I'm going to show you three wonderful colours. I did have some trouble with Purple rain though, still no sun. So I will make a better comparison and post it sometime in the furutre.

Look at me I'm Sandra Dee. Sandra Dee is a clear based polish with red and silver prismatic micro glitters. It can of course be layered but opacity is easily achieved on it's own. I have two thick coats in the pictures. It does dry a bit gritty so a good TC is definitely recommended.

Next up is The Great Pretender, a dark red jelly with duo chrome shimmer. Layered over black it is similar to Secret sauce from EP and Ringer goes blonde from DDP. I layered it but forgot to take pictures, I blame it on the fever lol. Three coats in the pictures and TC. But it dries glossy so it's not a must. Even though it is for me :P

Purple rain, another wonderful jelly. Purple rain is a blurple jelly with blue and green shimmer. The old formula has more green shimmer and is a tad darker but besides that they are really close. I've been having som problems to capture the shimmer, but as I already mentioned I will make another post sometime in the future :) I ended up with three coats and TC. Purple rain dries a bit matte so you will definitely need a TC to help the shimmer pop.
The spring collection will be available at Llarowe's website. They will be restocked a few times in the future. I'll update you guys when I know the dates and times :) Don't forget to like Llarowe and Colors by Llarowe on Facebook to get updates about restocks and pre-orders :)

Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - The holos part 3 (pic heavy)

Hi guys!

Time for the last holos from the Spring frenzy collection. That means that the next post probably will be the last Spring frenzy post :((( Feels kind of sad, reviewing these polishes have beens so much fun! I'm a true CbL hoarder and being asked to review them was just beyond my wildest imagination. I'm truly grateful for this amazing opportunity!

With that said, It's polish time! First out is Deanna, it's blue! A dark denim blue linear holo. This one dried really fast and glossy. After I hade finished taking the pictures it was completely dry, and that was without fast drying TC. I have two coats in the pictures but Deanna is really pigmented so I think one thick coat could cover completely.

Next up is Concrete jungle. First of all, this name makes me think of a swedish song called "Betongdjungelboken" by Ayo from the 90's. I just had to listen to the song and it was such a trip down memory lane lol. Anyway, Concrete jungle is a warm creamy grey scattered holo. Two coats was enough to get this one opaque as well. Formula was great, really easy to apply. CJ didn't dry as glossy as Deanna so I would recommend a TC :)

Last out is Purple pizzaz. PP is a scattered holo with purple micro glitters. It's the only glitter holo I got from the collection and it is AMAZING! I definitely need to get the other ones at the next restock. PP is like a purple rainbow paradise on your nails. Even though I'm a pure holo lover I think it's so fun that Leah Ann have done so many non pure holos for this collection. Two coats here as well but this one dries gritty, because of the micro glitters. Therefor TC is a must! I used Nail pattern boldness - Digital flash.
Which one of the three colours do you prefer? Please let me know in the comments below :)

Colors by Llarowe - NMETIAC

Hey guys!

Hope that you're feeling better than I am. I'm sick and it sucks! I'm curled up in the sofa drinking lemonade that tastes like water and eating food that tastes like... Well nothing lol. Listening to The order of the phoenix and painting my nails :) Okay, life could definitely be worse.

Today I'm showing you NMETIAC, standing for Nobody makes Emily twerk in a corner. A turquoise jelly leaning towards green with golden prismatic glitters. I've been looking forward to try this one and I really love it. The formula was really good and the glitter spread evenly. I have have three coats in the pictures without TC. This colour was tricky to capture, so I had to edit it to make it more colour accurate. I think I managed pretty well. Colours like this one tend to look more blue than they are when i photograph them. But NMETIAC really is more of a green colour than blue.

Enough babbling, it's picture time!
What do you think about tweaking Emily? Let me know in the comments below :)
