I have the best BFF in the entire universe!
Emelie and I give each other monthly polishes. This month I got Orange-a-peel from Lilypad Lacquer. I love orange polishes and this one is so awesome. It's a neon orange scattered holo. I couldn't capture the holo-part very well because it's kind of cloudy in Lund today. If you want a better chance of rainbows you should check out Skimmerskuggan's holographic friday.
Orange-a-peel was almost a one-coater. The formula was great, it applied like butter. I ended up with two thin coats but one thicker coat would definitely cover just as well. It dries matte like neons do so top coat is recommended. I used HK Girl TC and it didn't affect the holographic properties.

ReplyDeleteFärgen är ljuvlig, älskar verkligen orange, men jag fattade inte att det var holo förrän jag läste texten. Jag har hittills testat två av holosarna från Lilypad och båda har tyvärr haft svag holo-effekt.

ReplyDeleteJag tycker det är trist att Lilypad inte är konstanta utan vissa är mer och andra mindre holo. Jag köpte lack till mig och Emma samtidigt och samma färger men fick olika stark holo... Hursomhelst, det jag tänkte säga var att dina bilder är så himla fina! Naglarna också!
