Lilypad Lacquer - Caspian crush

SWEET BABY BELL PEPPERS!

This is Caspian crush or as I would like to call it, PURE FRIGGIN' PERFECTION! Caspian crush is a beautiful multi chrome and I guess this polish is the definition of blurple. I applied two thin coats of CC over black. Although I think that one coat would have been enough. I finished the mani of with on coat of G&G HK girl TC.

The formula was great, it was a bit sheer though so I would definitely recommend to layer it over black. I usually do so with my duo/multi chromes, the colours tend to pop and I don't need to apply as many layers to achieve full opacity :)

Until next time, take care!

Nail patch tutorial

Hey guys!

I've done a tutorial on how I patch my broken nails. I use a translucent sticker thingy that I buy on ebay. They're called Crack Attacker and I think that the name is so funny. The only thing I forgot to mention in the tutorial is that I buffer the nail between step 8 and 9. After that I apply one final coat of glue.

I buy my Rescue kit from Orly off ebay as well and I love it. I think I pay about 12 USD shipped to Sweden which I think is a decent price. Let me know if you have any questions about the tutorial :)
Until next time, take care!

Jordana - Carnival and chevrons

I've showed you a mani like this not long ago but I had to do another one, I love them. Using nail vinyls is so easy and it's a great way to reuse a manicure if you want to do something fun fast.

I have used Carnival from Jordana as a base. It's a navy blue jelly with green, blue and silver glitters. I used chevron vinyls and applied a thick coat of white polish. It's really simple, but I might do a pic tutorial because it was so much fun doing the last one. I buy my nail vinyls here and I think that they are great!

I've changed background in my lightbox and I would love to hear what you think of it :) Let me know in the comments!
Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - Space Beetle

Ohh! Look at this baby. This is Space beetle form Darling Diva Polish. A gorgeous army green linear holo with gold to copper to pink glass flecks. I'm in love!

I saw this polish a while back over at Rock jewel nails and I fell in love. It's stunning! The formula was classic DDP (=amazeballs). I love the thin brush, it really does make the application so much easier IMO.  Especially on my slim jim pinkies.

I have three rather thins coats in the pictures and one coat of TC. The TC didn't affect the holographic properties what so ever.
Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Charity comparison

The colours I have used are from pinkie to index:
Good Golly Miss Molly, Dirty Diana, CBL Addicts Attack! and Oxen.

As you can see CBL Addicts Attack is more purple than the other three. But it's still a reddish colour,  it's not at all as purple as e.g Tank Tops & Flip Flops. I have two coats of each colour without TC. CBL Addicts Attack! is what I wanted from Good Golly Miss Molly when I got it. I really love this colour and it's very unique IMO.
The colours I have used are from pinkie to index:
In The Navy, CBL Addicts Blue Me Away, Yo, Cupid Take a Hike! and Bronco Blue.

These also differ quite a lot, CBLABMA has a teeny-tiny teal feel to it which non of the other three have. Two coats of each colour here as well and no TC.
The Launch will be at 12:00pm MDT and again at 7:00pm MDT. If you, like me, have problem knowing what 12:00pm MDT converts to in "your" time you should check this baby out!

That's all for know, please let me know if you have any questions :) Don't forget to like Llarowe and Colors by Llarowe on Facebook to get updates on restocks and such.

Colors by Llarowe - Charity polish

Are you excited about tonights CbL-charity-polish-release-hibbidy-shibbidy-thingy. I know I am! I wan them all. Big surprise huh!?

Leah Ann decided to add two last minute polishes for todays launch. These started out as group customs, but LA had quite a few left and asked in the group if it would be okay to sell the remaning ones tonight with the money going to charity. Our answer? Hell to the yes!

So first out is CBL Addicts Blue Me Away. A gorgeous denim blue linear holo. I took these pictures last night at 1am so no sunlight pics O:)

CBLABMA is a one-coater. It's super duper pigmented and it applies like butter. The CbL's have great formula overall but this is something else! It also dries fast and glossy on it's own and the pictures are without TC.
The money for this polish will go to Donate life, click the link if you want to read more about the cause.

Next up is CBL Addicts Attack! Addicts Attack is a medium dark purple with a drop of magenta. I love it. This one required two coats for full coverage. It was easy to apply and it also dried really glossy and fast on it's own. IMO most CbL's tend to.
The money for this polish will go to Cure epilepsy, click the link if you want to read more about the cause.

I know that a lot of you wonder how different these two CbL's are from other CbL's. I would love to help you put and compare a few so here is a link to my CbL collection. Let me know if you want me to compare these two to any of them and I'll fix it before tonights launch :)

The Launch will be at 12:00pm MDT and again at 7:00pm MDT. If you, like me, have problem knowing what 12:00pm MDT converts to in "your" time you should check this baby out!

Polish Me Silly - Clowning around

Please allow me to lay down and die.

Thank you! I love this polish, I know I say that all the time. But this polish really is something different. Clowning around is a glitter topper and it can be layered over loads of different colours. I decided to go for the most obvious choice and layered it over white. I also went mental with some neon studs from BPS. When I apply studs or rhinestones I use a orange stick and dip the tip in some water. I think it's tricky to use a tweezer, I really recommend orange sticks they're the best!

I have three coats of Clowning around in the pictures. The glitter spread evenly but the bigger glitters did require some fishing. The glitters are super thin so even though I had base coat, two coats of white polish, three coats of CA and TC it didn't feel too thick.

Since neons usually dry matte or semi-matte I thought it would be fun to apply a matte TC. I used OPIs matte TC and applied it over both CA and the nail with the neon studs. I'm really pleased with this mani!
Here is a link to the neon studs if you want to check them out :) Don't forget to use my discount code, it will give you 10% off. It's always free shipping worldwide from BPS!

Peggy Sage - Green Illusion

Green Wednesday today and I'm participating. Iv'e got a mint green holo to show you. Green Illusion from Peggy Sage is a gorgeous polish, but it was a pain in the --- to apply. Bald patches appeared when I applied the second coat. This polish really needs aqua base. Unfortunately I sold my bottle of aqua base from Make up Store. I had to apply really thick coats and wait until it was completely dry before I applied a new one. The good news though was that it didn't look thick on the nail once it was dry. I applied TC and it didn't affect the holographic properties.

Once I had applied the TC I decided to add a few water decals. I'm not a big fan of children, but I love animals. So when I saw these decals at Born Pretty Store I just had to get them. The are super cute. I have done a water decal tutorial that you can find here.

That's all for now, enjoy the pictures :)

You can find the decals here, don't forget to use my code to get a 10% discount :) It's always free shipping worldwide from BPS!

Until next time, take care!
