Pond full of grape juice - nail art

Hello dear pond, long time no see.

It's been almost a year since the last time I did a jelly pond. I don't really know why since they look awesome and are so much fun to make.
To make a pond you will need three things:
- a jelly polish of your choice.
- a white creme polish.
- some sort of dotting tool, if you don't have a dotting tool you can use a bobby pin or the top of a needle instead. Google "home made dotting tool" and you will find more things you can use.

Start with one coat of your jelly, after that you apply a few dots on your nail. Then you repeat the process with a new coat of jelly polish and new dots. The amount of layers you will need depends on how sheer your polish is. I have three layers of dots, and four layers of polish. The most important thing when doing a dottipond is time, patience and thin layers of polish.
The polish I used is Grape juice from Colors by Llarowe. It's a polish that works really well for both ponds and jelly sandwiches. The white polish I used is a rather new one in my collection. It's 323 from Dance Legend and is a pure white. I was hoping that it would be the perfect white but it is kind of sheer. I think it will require three coats for full opacity. Therefore the searching for the ultimate white continues.

If you want to look at more nail art, you should check out this weeks nail art Sunday!
Until next time, take care!
