Colors by Llarowe - Beautiful creature

I love Colors by Llarowe... As you might know by now. The holos are absolutely amazing! But something that I would like to see more of is awesome glitter toppers. I'm a big fan of glitters and the clear based ones are hard to find. Holos and duo/multi chromes are super easy to get your hands on but when it comes to glitter toppers it's a lot trickier. That's not unique for CbL, I think it's the same with most indie polish brands.
This babe is discontinued which I think is really sad. Beautiful creature is so pretty, packed with  glitters in different shapes, sizes and colours. I have two coats layered over Tazmo kramer and I love this combination. I only needed one thin layer of SV to smoothen it out, that surprised me.
Are you into glitters or do you prefer holos, cremes, jellies and chromes?
Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Bonus spring frenzy

Hey cuticle cuties!

I got a few extra colours from the Spring frenzy collection from Colors by Llarowe two weeks ago. But I totally forgot to post them on the blog. I uploaded a few of the pictures on my Facebook page

As you can see, I swatched some of these polishes before I broke one of my nails. But I must say, I think I might keep them short for a while. I really like them this way :) I hope you enjoy the post, please let me know if you have any questions!

Little boy blue
First out is Little boy blue, a gorgeous blue creme with pink glass flecks. I absolutely adore this colour. The formula was great. It applied smoothly and covered perfectly with three thin coats. I'm not wearing any top coat in the pictures. It dries really glossy on it's own!

Bea stings!
Bea stings! is a reddish pink holo. It has micro glitters and as you can see in the pictures TC is needed. I didn't apply any TC and it felt a bit gritty.  Two coats where needed for it to cover completely.

Turquoise twinkle
I was a bit disappointed in this colour. I was hoping for something a bit more turquoise. I'm not sure if i just got a polish from a bad batch but mine had a blue base and not a turquoise one. I only needed two  layers and the formula was great.

Do you guys have this polish? Does your have more of a turquoise base? The colour of this polish really seem to vary depending on the swatcher.

Tazmo kramer
Tazmo kramer is a newfound love of mine. I adore this colour. It somehow manages to be both discrete and super sparkly, don't ask me how. It has the cutest little semi translucent turquoise glitters that make the polish really unique. Two coats was enough for full coverage. The pictures are without top coat.

Shimmering waters
Oh, cute little Shimmering waters, you have so much potential with all your pretty glitters. Unfortunately I only managed to fish up three glitters from the bottle :'( I didn't have that kind of problem with TT or TK, not with Come dance the hora either. Maybe I should let the bottle stand upside-down for a while and give it a second try. The base colours is absolutely stunning so it doesn't bother me. I'm a big fan of glitters however so I might just give the upside-down bottle trick a try. I have two coats in the pictures without TC.
Until next time, take care!

piCture pOlish - Gravity

OMG! I absolutely love this polish. Gravity is a multi chrome that shifts between bronze/yellow, blue and purple. It also has something that I would like to call prismatic flakes, I think that's the best way to describe the glitters.
Gravity is pretty sheer and it needs to be layered. I have two coats over black and it applied smoothly. I finished the mani of with one coat of Digital flash from Nail pattern boldness.

I'm super sleepy so I'm off to bed now :) Sleep tight cuties!
Until next time, take care!

Girly Bits - Get weaponized

First of all, thank you so much for all your kind words here, on IG and on FB about my new nail length. I know that it sounds lame but I've had long nails for such a long time that I was afraid that I wouldn't pull the short nail thing off :P
Todays beauty is Get weaponized from Girly Bits. It's a dusty greenish blue scattered holo with blue and magenta coloured micro glitters. I accidentally bought this when I ordered CbL's from Llarowe. I didn't notice I had it in my cart until I had confirmed my payment LOL :D

The polish covered perfectly on the second coat and dried smooth even though there are quite a few glitters in it. I did apply one coat of HK Girl TC and it dried really fast.
Until next time, take care!

Cirque - Xochitl

Hi all my lovely readers :)

I hope that you're having a great easter so far! As I mentioned in yesterdays post
I'm with my family at our summer cottage and the weather is wonderful!
Today I'm showing you a polish from Ciques Heritage collection, a polish with the rather weird name Xochitl. I have no idea how to pronounce it lol :D

Xochitl is a wonderful purple holographic polish with small pinkish purple glass flecks. This polish applied easier than Cerrillos but the application was still tricky. I think that this polish might be a dupe to TT&FF. I haven't got it with me so I will have to compare them when I come home.

I have two coats of Xochitl and one coat of HK Girl TC. The polish dried semi matte so TC is definitely recommended.

I wish you all a happy easter with lodas of food and candy :D
Until next time, take care!

Misslyn - Oriental emerald

Hey cuties!

I hope that you all are well and that you're having a great friday. I'm with my family at our summer cottage. On my way here I broke one of my nails, the horror! So this will be my last long nail post in a while. Tomorrow I'll show you my nubs :P

Sorry about my dry hands, I took these pictures this morning and I was in a bit of a rush :P
This gorgeous polish is Oriental emerald from a brand that I heard of for the first time quite recently. Misslyn, as the brand is called, have so many pretty polishes on their website. I don't know if they ship outside of Germany though. This was sent to me through a swap.

Oriental emerald is a texture polish with prismatic glitter. It was so easy to apply and it only required two coats for full opacity. I love green, as some of you might know by now, and this polish is no exception. It dried very fast which some textured polishes tend not to.
Until next time, take care!
