Darling Diva Polish - Stand back

Hi sweeties!

Sorry that the blog was super silent yesterday. I was att "Gekås" with my mom and after that we had "home made pizza"-night with our friends.

So this is the cutie I was going to show you yesterday. It's Stand back from DDP. A gorgeous purple linear holo. It was opaque after two coats and the formula was classic DDP, which means brilliant :P I have one coat of Sparkle swift TC from Pretty & Polished but the DDP holos dry fast on their own if you prefer your holos without TC.

Stand back is like a darker version of TT&FF from CbL. So if you love TT&FF you will love this one as well. Since I'm a PPA (Purple Polish Addict) this one is a must-have for me. I have a couple more purples from this collection to show you and I will make a comparison of them when I have showed you all.

That's all for now. Enjoy the pictures!

DDP polish can be bought at LlaroweEdgy polishMei mei and of course their Big cartel.

Until next time, take care!

Dupe alert? Enchanted Polish - Darling Diva Polish - Ninja Polish (pic heavy)

EP - Ciao Milano vs. DDP - Maxed out vs. NP - Hydra
Order from pinkie to index finger:
Enchanted Polish - Ninja Polish - Darling Diva Polish - Enchanted Polish.

I have layered all three colours over one coat of black polish. The application of all there where pretty much the same. I love the DDP brush and that one was also a tad thinner than the other to. But if you prefer a wider brush such as the OPI one then you should definitely go with NP. I love glitters like these, multi chrome glitters that cover pretty well. I think I prefer them over full covering multi chromes. At least that's what I want to tell myself. That would explain the hoarding lol :D

You really don't need all of these, they are so alike. The only difference I can tell is that Maxed out from DDP have a few golden glitters as well. When it comes to EP and NP they are definitely dupes.

With that said I will still keep all of them. Mostly because I love the colours that appear in these three polishes. What do you guys think, any of these that qualify as dupes?

EP - Secret sauce vs. DDP - Ringer goes blonde
Order from pinkie to index finger:
Darling Diva Polish - Enchanted Polish - Darling Diva Polish - Enchanted Polish.

I have two layers each of Secret sauce and Ringer goes blonde over one coat of black polish.

I got secret sauce not so long ago. While I was still waiting for it Ringer goes blonde was released as a LE at DDP's big cartel. I snagged one, mostly because I wanted to know how similar they where.  As you can see they are identical. I would never be able to tell which was EP and which was DDP if someone showed me the pictures. So DDP is really a great option if you like Secret sauce. I'm glad I have both because I love Secret sauce and have been wanting it for a long time.

So what do you think? The sauce ain't that secret after all lol :D

Different Dimension - Cupid is stupid

Hi sweethearts!

I can't believe how time flies, it's Thursday already!? Do you guys have any special plans for the weekend?

I have a problematic polish to show you today. I really like what it looks like in the pictures. But I don't like it on me. Even though it looks exactly the same lol. Not even sure if that makes sense. But you know when you see swatches of a polish and fall in love and when you wear it it feels like "meh". Thats what Cupid is stupid feels like.

I got this polish in Februarys A box indied from Llarowe. It's a hot pink jelly with blue, green and purple glass flecks. The formula was a tad thick but it's easier to add thinner than the other way around so it doesn't bother me too much. I have three coats in the pictures. It felt like ages before it was dry. Even though I used a fast drying TC. Oh well, you can't love them all.

Don't forget to check out Princess Emma's blog if you want to enjoy more pink pretties.

Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - Edge of seventeen and Landslide

Hey lovelies!

Green Wednesday today, and here it's super green. I'm going to show you two amazing green holos. Both are from the White witch collection form DDP.  I have been looking at swatches and I knew that they where a bit sheer. But I didn't want to layer them. As I've mentioned before, It doesn't bother me if I have a bit of VNL. I know that some of you can't stand it, I hope that these pictures won't be too terrible for you to look at.

First out is the lime green Edge of seventeen. Edge of seventeen is a scattered holo with a duo chrome shimmer. The shimmer varies between pink and blue. The pink was really easy to capture but the blue was a bit tricker. I applied three coats but the VNL was still there, but as I said it doesn't bother me. The formula was great, as always with DDP. Since the colour is more of a jelly holo it dried very glossy.

Next up is Landslide. Landslide is a grass green linear holo. It is also a bit sheer but not as sheer as Edge of seventeen. The formula was just as great as Edge of seventeen. I have three coats of this one as well. I love that there are two green holos in this collection. I'm a big fan of green and these two shades of green are no exception. No TC here either but as you can see, Landslide is also really glossy.

DDP polish can be bought at LlaroweEdgy polishMei mei and of course their Big cartel.

Darling Diva Polish - Rooms on fire

Hi lovelies!
I've got something special for you today. The colour spectra of this polish makes me think it's a thermal polish. Even though it's not! Today I'm showing you DDP - Rooms on fire. A reddish aubergine pink linear holo. I know, that colour description sucks but I'm having such a hard time to decide what colour it is.

Rooms on fire was easy to apply. The formula was top notch and it dried really fast. Two coats was enough for it to become completely opaque. I love this polish and I definitely need more DDP holos in my stash!

Unfortunately it's cloudy here in Lund today so some of the pictures are taken with flash.

DDP polish can be bought at LlaroweEdgy polishMei mei and of course their Big cartel.

Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - Rhiannon and Nightbird

Hey guys!

Double up on this blue Monday. I'm going to show you two blue holos from Darling Diva Polish. They are from the White witch collection. The collection consists of twelve holos in total. I'm going to show you eleven of them during this week. Well that's the plan at least. I'm going to try to follow the different colour themed days with these pretties.

First out is a Rhiannon, a sky blue holo with discrete purple mini flecks. The flecks where hard to capture but they are visible when wearing the polish. At first I got a bit worried when applying the polish. It was seemed to be super sheer. But three normal thick coats was enough for completely opaque finish. I love DDP, as you might know buy now, and this colour is no exception. The rainbows are super intense which I love :) The flecks make this colour even more unique. This blue makes me long for iced tea, magnolia trees in bloom and warm spring evenings.

Next up is Nightbird. Nightbird is an intense navy blue and it is absolutely stunning. I have "In the navy" from CbL but it's a tad more purple so I was glad to see that Nightbird really is navy blue. Two thin coats was all I needed and the formula was just as great. AHHHHHRRG! I don't understand how Carrie can make amazing colours over and over again. Fingers crossed that she never runs out of ideas!

DDP polish can be bought at Llarowe, Edgy polishMei mei and of course their Big cartel.

Until next time, take care!
