Pahlish - Lullaby without end

Allons-y!

Yes, I love David Tennant. OMG! Tennant. He's the tenth doctor. Mind blown! Sorry about that. This will be a Doctor Who polish post. If you don't like Doctor Who please leave this blog. Okay that was a bit overdramatic. But I'm a Whovian, a proud Whovian. For you who are not familiar with the term Whovian, let me tell you. Whovians live for the Doctor. The Doctor can not be explained. You must experience the Doctors awesomeness. My favourite doctor, as I mentioned is the tenth one.

And yes David I agree, you are brilliant! So anyhow, when I found out that Pahlish was doing a Doctor Who collection I nearly died. Of course I had to have it. The collection is a two part collection. The first part contains of six polishes. But a January duo was also released and the duo was also inspired by the doctor. I have decided to include them in the first part of the collection. Hope you don't mind. The second part will be released the seventh of February.

First out is Lullaby without end. This was the polish I thought was going to be my least favourite. It's not though. LWE is a red crelly with copper, blue and navy glitters and purple mini flecks. If you want to know from where the inspiration came here is a video you can watch :)

The formula was great. I needed two thin coats to achieve full coverage. I finished the mani of with one coat of SV and that's about it. This polish really is great. I love the colour and the glitter combination. Hi5 PAHLISH! This collection took of to a good start. Enough babbling, time for some pictures.

What do you think? Du you like it? If you enjoy red polishes don't forget to check out more reds at Nerd colour today :)

Until next time, take care!

Pop Culture Cosmetics - Roller coaster after dark

Not time for friendly hellos, LOOK AT THIS POLISH!

This magical polish miracle is Roller coaster after dark from Pop Culture Cosmetics. RCAD is a blackened grey jelly with prismatic shimmer and tons of glitter. When you buy this baby you get moon and star shaped glitters, squares and circles! The glitters come in all the colours of the rainbow. Some of the colours are magenta, silver, gold, green, blue, orange and red. You can buy PPC-polishes here.

The formula is amazeballs! No fishing , not even for the large circles, was required. I wasn't sure about the opacity of RCAD so I decided to layer it over a black polish. On the pictures I have one coat of the cheap black polish from Nordic Cap, two coats of RCAT and two coats of SV. This polish is crazy awesome and it's not similar to any other polish in my collection.

What do you guys think? Do you like it?
I couldn't control myself with the camera. Sorry about the picture spam lol!

Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Mojito

Hey guys :)

Super sweet Emma at Nail Lacquer Love asked me to swatch Mojito from CbL. Who am I to say no to her? Like all CbL holos I've tried so far two coats was enough for full coverage. The formula was great and drying time super speedy! I'm not wearing TC in the pictures but it's still pretty glossy. I love green holos and Mojito is no exception. I does look a bit more turquoise when the rainbows appear. If you look at the second picture from the top you can see that the colour is more of a dusty green in the shade/lower lit areas, that picture is the only one taken without flash.

I really love Mojito and I'm so glad that I have it in my collection. I'm a bit af a CbL junkie lol. Perhaps this week will be a CbL themed week :)

Until next time, take care!

Nail art sunday - Holo gradient

Hey cutie pies :)

Sunday today, best day of the blog week. Nail art, yay! Since it's no particular theme this week I decided to do something I've been wanting to try for a while. A holo gradient. I used Midnight sonata and Prima donna from Too Fancy Lacquer.

I used a make up sponge to dab the two polishes on my nail. I needed to repeat the procedur two times to blend the colours well and achieve full coverage. I have one layer of SV and it didn't affect the holo properties. These to polishes have a much stronger holo than Tell me sea-cret. I also think that Midnight sonata might be a one coater. I'm gonna try it on it's own and let you know :)

I'm so pleased with this mani. It turned out great IMO. If you want to see more nail arts check out  this awesome blog!

Until next time, take care!

Darling Diva Polish - Booty call

Hey guys!

DDP got most votes so that's what I'll show you :) Todays pretty polish is Booty call. Imagine if all booty calls where as cute as this one, lol. Booty call is a white crelly with magenta, red and black micro glitters. It's both discreet and fun at the same time. Application was great, as always with DDP. I have four coats in the pictures. At first I was thinking about layering it over a white polish. But I really like the depth you get using light glitter crellies like this one on their own.

What do you guys think about the voting? Do you like it? I think it has been great fun and I would like to continue if you want to :) I'm not doing a poll for tomorrow though. Since it's nail art Sunday I want to be able to choose among all my polishes.

Until next time, take care!

IsaDora - Wine crush

Number one thing I do when I should sleep: swatch nail polish!

This is Wine crush from IsaDora. It's a reddish brown texture polish with gold and copper shimmer. It's the perfect winter polish. At least if you live in the southern part of Sweden. No beautiful snow flakes softly falling from the sky. We get rain, and dark grey clouds :P

Anyway back to Wine crush :) As most texture polishes the formula was great. Two coats was enough to achieve full coverage. I dried really fast, which is a big plus. I really like texture polishes and Wine crush is no exception.

The poll is open until 10 am, don't forget to vote on your favourite nail polish brand :)

Until next time, take care!
