Colors by Llarowe - The mighty red baron and P47

Hi cuties!

I've got a super fancy layering to show you guys :) I got some polish from Llarowe today and one of them was P47. I swatched it on a nail wheel and thought that it looked a bit sheer. Therefor I decided to layer it. I used one of my favourite reds, The mighty red baron.
The result is amazing IMHO. It's a copper red shimmery finish with a discrete holo. I need to experiment more when layering polish. I usually just apply them over a black base. A black base works pretty much every time but it's really fun when you find a perfect match that doesn't include black.
I have two coats of The mighty red baron and one coat of P47. The formulas where great! P47 dried semi-matte so a TC is definitely recommended.
Sorry about the picture spam but I just love the combo and couldn't decide which pictures I should publish :P
Until next time, take care!

Colors by Llarowe - Her eyes shined

LEMMING SQUASHED!

My all-time favourite brand is CbL, I honestly believe that I won't be able to live a peaceful life until I own all the CbL's ever made. I know it's a bit psychotic, but that's the kind of gal I am.

When I saw this polish and Paradise Found on store envy I purchased them immediately. I'm really glad that I did because Her eyes shined is absolutely breathtaking. I love green and blue polishes and when I get a polish that contains both colours I scream and shout of joy.
The formula was great, even though this is one of the older CbL's. I thought that it was going to be super sheer but it almost covered perfectly with two thin coat. I did add a third coat and that made it completely VNL-free IRL, even though you can see a little bit VNL in the pics.
Her eyes shined is a greenish teal with blue and green micro glitters. It's gorgeous and I hope that Leah Ann will have som similar colours in the summer collection :D
Until next time, take care!

Black Cat Lacquer - He loves me not

First of all, I have decide to rename this polish. From now we shall call it "(S)he loves me not".

(S)he loves me not is a sheer creme with blue flecks and silver micro glitters. It's pretty unique in my collection but yet it has been standing untried for some time. This polish was part of Februarys A box indied from Llarowe
The formula was pretty thin and it was kind of tricky to apply. I ended up with four thin coats of polish and one coat of SV. The total amount of layers (six with base coat included) didn't feel too thick which is because of the thin formula I suppose.

I really like this colour which makes the tricky application bearable. I would prefer the formula to be thicker though. I haven't tried Black Cat Lacquer before and I really enjoy trying new indie brands. That's one of the reason that I like to buy different types of indie boxes. I treacly want to try "What's indie box?" when my no buy is over.
Have you tried Black Cat Lacquer? Please let me know what you think of the brand :)
Until next time, take care!

Pahlish - Legra 1956

Sometimes I fail. Today I failed BIG TIME!

I give you lobster hands, and these pictures are super edited. My hands where purple before I edited the pics. Therefor you will not get as many pictures as usual.

For this weeks Nail art Sunday I decided to go for a pretty simple layering. I applied two coats of Pahlish Legra 1956 over a white base. I ended up with two coats and I really like how it turned out. Legra 1956 is a almost clear based glitter polish, the base is slightly tinted but it's not that visible on the nail. It has neon green glitters in various shapes, some kind of pinkish glitters and round golden glitters as well.
I thought that it would look cool to add a golden circle stud on each nail to enhance the circle glitters. I looked pretty awesome but after a few hours it was like some of the studs had reacted with my top coat because the golden colour had faded and the silver colour underneath was showing.  I think you can see it in the non close-up pictures.

I really love neon glitter polishes so I just had to buy Legra 1056 before my no buy started. I'm gonna wear it again and re-take the pictures because these pictures don't do Legra justice. But it's not a big deal, I'm only human after all :P
Until next time, take care!

Chirality Nail Polish - Dystopia

Well hello gorgeous!

This stunning holo is Dystopia from Chirality Nail Polish. It's a silver/grey scattered holo and it is absolutely amaze-balls. Katarina, the owner of Edgy Polish, sent me this polish as a bonus when I placed my last order. I've been really excited to try it out because I haven't tried any polish from Chirality before. I follow them on IG and love the brand though.
The formula was great, the polish applied smoothly and it was neither too thin nor thick. I have two coats without TC in the pictures. It dried surprisingly shiny and also rather fast.
I added some awesome star studs from Born pretty store. The once I'm wearing in the pictures are #1. I got the silver ones but they are also available in gold. You get 150 stars in a small ziplock bag. They cost about 5 USD. But with my discount code you get 10% off :D The code is CYX31

I'm not a big fan of heart shaped things but I absolutely LOVE stars so I had to try these out!
Both these products where sent to review. Please not that I would NEVER write anything that wasn't my honest opinon. If I dislike something you will know. Trust me!

Until next time, take care!

Too Fancy Lacquer - This love is smokin' hot

Today is a pretty important day in Sweden. People that support political parties that have their roots in the labor movement demonstrate. A rather young left winged party, "Feministiskt Initiativ", was going to demonstrate in Lund. I was at work today so I couldn't join the demonstrations but this morning I decided to paint my nails in a colour that would match them.
This love is smokin' hot is a hot pink holo. I had to edit the pictures because my camera couldn't handle the colour. The formula was great, as all TFL's are! All I needed was two thin coats to achieve full opacity. I also applied a coat of SV because it dried semi-matte. I bought this beauty at Edgy Polish but it seems to be out of stock right now. Make sure to like Too Fancy Lacquer and Edgy Polish on Facebook to get updates about their restocks!
Until next time, take care!
