Jindie Nails - Dead roses

Hi cuticle cuties!

Short blog post, because I'm super sleepy and it's waaay past my bedtime. I really enjoyed wearing the polish I showed you yesterday so I decided to go for yet another glitter polishes. This beautiful vampy and squishy jelly is Dead roses from Jindie Nails. It was part of the anti-valentines box from A box, indied.

Dead roses is a very pigmented polish and it covered really well with two coats. I did add a third coat because I wanted more glitter. Most of the glitter had sunk to the bottom of the bottle so it did require some fishing to get them on the nails. The formula was a bit too thick for my liking, I might add some thinner. Dead roses dried super shiny, but I added top coat... As always. I really love dark vampy colours like this which makes me wonder why I haven't worn Dead roses sooner.
Until next time, take care and sleep tight :)
Love

Mckfresh Nail Attire - #001

Hi cuties!

Hope you're having a wonderful day :) I've spent most of the day changing my blog design. I hope you like it. I'd love some feedback, positive _and_ negative. Let me know in the comments bellow.

Today is Wednesday and it's green. If you, like me, enjoy green manicures you should head over to Karin

I decided to wear a polish that I've had for quite some time. #001 from Mckfresh Nail Attire. For those of you who don't play Pokémon #001 is the first Pokémon in the pokedex, also known as Bulbasaur. As you might have figured out, the polish is inspired by Bulbasaurs looks.

The base is a shimmery teal crelly. The glitters are green, red and golden in different shapes and sizes. It dried rather uneven so I ended up with two coats of tc, but I might add a third because it's not completely smooth.

I really like this polish and I absolutely need more pokemon polishes in my collection. Are you guys into Pokémon? I'd love to know!
Until net time, take care!

Smitten Polish - Jellyfish rave

Hi cuties!

Hope you're having a great day. I'm relaxing and watching Misfits, it's one of my favourite TV-series. I decided to go for a Smitten polish today as well. I might even have a Smitten Polish themed week :D

Anyway please let me introduce Jellyfish rave, and just like Nuclear sunshine, Jellyfish rave is part of the latest summer collection. As most jellies from Smitten Jellyfish rave required three coats for a VNL-free finish. I ended up with three layers of top coat as well. I absolutely love this soft purple, it's a really calm, cool blue purple shade that I really enjoy wearing.

The only annoying thing is that the name Jellyfish rave reminds me of the song Salmon dance by The Chemical Brothers. Because of this polish I can't get that song out of my head, lol.

That's all for now, let's enjoy some pictures!
Until next time, take care.
Lot's of love,

Smitten Polish - Nuclear sunshine

Hi lovelies!

I totally forgot to post yesterdays manicure. I'll try to double post tomorrow. Because today I decided to show you Nuclear sunshine from Smitten Polish summer collection. Nuclear sunshine is a gorgeous yellow holo. I'm not sure if it's a true neon, but it leans towards green which gives it a neon feel.

I have three coats in the pictures, there is a little bit of VNL but it wasn't very visible IRL. I enjoy Smitten's holos and Nuclear sunshine is just as great as they usually are. The drying time was excellent and the formula likewise. I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.

Until next time, take care!
Lots of love

Dry water marble nail art

Hey lovelies!

I hope life is treating you all well :) I'm still in my PJs and enjoying my day off. I decided to do a fun nail art since today is a completely stress-free day for me and my BF.

The colours I've used are Samarkand from Mavala, one of my all-time favourite purples and Mint for life from Maybelline.
I tried a new technique for this nail art. It's called dry water marble and it's similar to needle dragging. The only difference is that when doing needle dragging you do it on your nails. With dry water marble you apply polish onto a zip-lock bag and create your desired pattern on the bag. Then you let it dry and gently remove the nail polish design from the plastic bag and apply it on your nail. I used my regular base coat as glue and sealed the design with one coat of fast drying top coat from Glisten & glow. The technique was super easy and fun, I really enjoyed doing it. I found this amazing pictorial, I thought it was helpful, I hope you guys enjoy it.
That's all for now. Have a great day and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram, @cilp, if you want sneak peaks on upcoming manicures :)

Lot's of love

Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend - Mavka

Hey lovelies!

Time for my last untried Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend polish. I must say that I really like this collection. The three shades I've tried are very different. I enjoy when a collection have many different finishes and this is one of the most versatile collections I've ever come across. Here is the first shade, a stunning hot pink. The second colour is absolutely wonderful, a squishy jelly with loads of flakes.

Mavka is also a jelly but instead of flakes it's packed with golden hex glitters. The base is a deep moss green super squishy jelly. It's very pigmented and two coats was enough for a VNL-free finish. I added a third coat but that was only because I wanted more glitters. The base colour did not become any darker when I applied the third coat, I'm not sure if that made any sense but I hope you understand what I mean. Another bonus is that Mavka was completely smooth and it dried super glossy. I added top coat for a shorter drying time but I didn't notice that the TC added any extra shine.
I would definitely recommend this collection. I will definitely make sure to buy a few more shades next time I order from Dance Legend. The collection has so many unique finishes, there is absolutely something for everyone. Have you tried any of the colours from the collection? Let me know bellow.

Until next time, take care!
