Lumene - Golden sand

Hey polish lovers!

I have a stunning bargain to show you. Yesterday I went mini shopping with my BFF. Guess what, I bought nail polish. I found this beautiful yellow texture with loads of golden shimmer. It was only 25 SEK which is approximately $3.50. I'm a big fan of Lumenes nail polish and Golden sand is no exception. The formula was amazing and it covered perfectly with three coats.
Clean-up was minimal and the drying time was rather impressive considering the fact that I didn't apply top coat. I enjoy wearing textures since they tend to last an entire day at work. That's a rather uncommon thing for me. During the summers I work in a store and I get some serious tip wear. I might actually even update this post tonight and let you know if I had the same experience with Golden sand as other textures.

That's all for now. Time for some picture spam. I hope you like this cutie. Take care and I'll talk to you soon :)

Lilypad Lacquer - Natures gift

Hello cuticle cuties!

Guess what, it's actually cloudy in Lund, Sweden. HALLELUJAH! I'm so glad to have one day when I'm not sweating like a pig.

Today I'm wearing a LE polish from Lilypad Lacquer. It's called Natures gift which is a really appropriate name. It's a dark blackened teal with golden flakes and a scattered holo. The golden flakes makes the polish look greenish in som angles. It's also a tad duo chrome but unfortunately I didn't manage to capture it in the pictures.
Natures gift has the most amazing formula. It covered perfectly with two thin coats. It dried completely smooth but since I wanted the manicure to be super glossy I added one coat of HK Girl top coat. I'm really pleased with this shade. I'm going to look for similar colours. Let me know below if you have any suggestions.

That's all for now. Until next time, take care!

International tiger day nail art

Hey lovelies!
How are you all doing?

Today is a very important day for me. It's the International tiger day. I've been donating money to WWF and the tigers monthly for the last five years. I'm a huge animal lover and I can't stand the thought of animals being shot because of their fur, horns or bones. It is absolutely disgusting and I do what I can to help. I love all animals and I try to live my life seeing all creatures on the earth as equals.

I would never eat my fur baby poodles Teddy and Agathon and I would never eat a cut little pig either. This is my decision and I know that not everybody have the possibility to become a vegetarian/vegan. What I hope is that some of you might consider giving an amount that is equal to two indie polishes every month to help us keep tigers alive on our beautiful planet.
Source
Time for how I did the nail art! I used China Glaze - Stoked to be soaked as my base colour. It's a bright orange creme that covered with two thin coats. Then I used a small piece of make-up sponge and dabbed on Coconut by Barry M, Kubiss - 146 and Lime Crime - Peaches <3 creme. After that I did some stripes with a nail art brush with Liquid leather from China Glaze and 146 from Kubiss. For the accent nail I used Peaches <3 creme and did tiny tiger paws. I also did some dabbing with the other colours for the accent nail the blend in with the other nails.
That's all for now. I hope you will have a great tiger day!

Dance Legend - Celia

Hi lovelies!

Hope you're having a great day. I'm so sorry that I haven't posted as many blog posts as I thought I was going to. It's even more hectic being off work than actually working lol. I took these pictures yesterday but I was so tired that I forgot to write the blog post.

So this multi chrome beauty is Celia from Dance Legend. I didn't layer it which was rather stupid because I needed three coats for it to cover. I would definitely recommend layering it over black. By doing so I think that one coat of Celia would be enough.
It didn't dry very fast, which was because of the three rather thick layers of polish. I used a fast drying top coat but it was still easily dented even after half an hour later.

That's all for now, unit next time take care!

Claudia - Lilac glamour

Hey darlings!

I have a brand new polish to show you, I bought it today and I absolutely love the colour. Thankfully this pretty polish has a name, Lilac glamour. Most of the cheaper swedish nail polish brands only name their nail polish with numbers which I hate. Not Claudia though, YAY!

Lilac glamour is a lilac tinted base with golden flakes and silver micro glitters. They look black in the macro shot but they are silver, promise! I was almost certain that this cutie needed undies, I did however manage to make it almost opaque with four coats but next time I'll definitely layer it. With the help of a fast drying top coat it dried really fast. It was almost completely smooth on it's own and also rather shiny. I paid 9,95 SEK for this polish which I consider a bargain :D
That's all for now :) Until next time, take care!

Pop Culture Cosmetics - Enchanted evening

Hi lovelies!

Guess what!? I have three work-free days ahead. I feel so excited! It's been a really hectic summer and I'm so glad to finally have som free-time. I'm going up early tomorrow even though I'm free because we're going to meet up with my BFs family. Therefore this will be a bit of a shorty post as well. I promise I'll make up for though.
The winner of todays 'what nail polish to wear' wheel is Enchanted evening from Pop Culture Cosmetics. It's a super squishy jelly packed with glitters and shimmer. Three coats was necessary for it to cover. The formula was problem-free considering all the glitters. As some of you might now, Pop culture cosmetics did a make over and goes by the name Neverland lacquers.

That's all for now. I hope you all are planing to have a great weekend, I sure know I am :D
Until next time, take care!

Lime Crime - Nail splatter

Hi cuticle cuties!

I have tried a new nail art technique today, splatter nails. It's so easy to do and really fun as well. You take a straw, dip it in nail polish and gently blow. You will get a really cool splatter effect on the nail, and nail polish bottle in my case.
I used all Lime crime colours except Milky ways. I used Barry M - Coconut as base colour. I love how it turned out and I'm definitely doing similar design in the future. I can barley think because of the heat, this will be yet another short blog post.

Talk to you tomorrow :) Take care!

Barry M - Passionfruit

Hey lovelies!

Time for a perfect red. Passionfruit from Barry M. Passionfruit is a neon red creme. The formula is absolutely amazing and it almost covered with one coat. It's also super shiny but I added top coat to help it dry faster. As you might know, I love Lychee from Barry M and Passionfruit is just as amazing. I really recommend the Gelly collection from Barry M. You won't be disappointed!

I added a couple of studs from Born pretty store. I think they look great with the polish. But hey, black and white looks awesome with almost every colour.

If you want to try Barry M you can buy them at Llarowe.
Until next time, take care!

Snow white and nail art

Golden metal flowers sent for my honest review.
I have a super cute manicure to show you guys. I have showed you a couple of these metal nail art thingys before. Today I have some amazing cherry blossom shaped ones to show you.
I started with a white base, Snow white from Models own. After that I added Bubbly from Pop culture cosmetics on my thumb, index and ring finger. On my middle finger and pinkie I added flowers and one thin layer of bubbly on top of them. I also added on thick coat of top coat on all of my nails.

I really love this manicure, it feels classy yet modern and fun. That's all for now. Talk to you soon :)
Until next time, take care!

Pahlish - Sleep to dream

Hi cuticle cuties!

I'm going to bed really soon, I have to go up at 4 am :( But before I fall asleep I want to share this vampy beauty with you. This is Sleep to dream from Pahlish. It's a wonderful dark aubergine creme with tons of different micro flakes.
The formula was a bit weird, not in a bad way just different. It was very thick but not at all stringy, if you know what I mean. I ended up with three coats, it self levelled well even though it was rather thick. It's not very summery but it's one of my oldest untried so I had to give it some love. I aslo added two coats of top coat because it dried surprisingly matte.

That's all for now, I'm off to bed :D
Until next time, take care!

Smitten Polish - Girl sprouts

Hi lovelies!

Is there a better feeling than having your nails done after cleaning the entire apartment? I don't think so :) After doing the dishes and cleaning our home I decided to go for a lovely green holo, Girl sprouts from Smitten Polish.
Girl sprouts is a grass green jelly based holo. It requires three coats for a completely VNL-free finish. It dries really fast so the amount of coats isn't a big deal. The formula is a tad thin so I needed to do some (more) clean-up today. However, it was easy to remove polish from the cuticle area so the clean-up wasn't too time consuming.

I also added one coat of HK girl TC. The polish dried shiny but by adding TC the manicure lasts longer. I absolutely adore this colour, it's pretty much a holo version of The Incredible Hulk. Absolutely stunning and a must have if you're into greens.
Until next time, take care!
